Industrial Copolymers, manufacturer of high performance resins and polymers for the coatings, adhesives and sealants industries, has undergone a rebranding programme and changed its identity to Incorez Ltd. As of April 1st 2009, the company will trade under its new name.
“The Industrial Copolymers name has served the company well over the years but it was felt that the time had come to revamp the image into one that better suits the company’s strategic objectives,” comments Charles Lynch, Sales & Marketing Director for Incorez. “We are a modern, progressive, global chemical company that prides itself in offering innovative custom-made solutions to the marketplace and therefore, we wanted our image to reflect this. We feel sure that our customers will soon see the benefits of our rebranding programme which includes a new logo, new literature and a new website.”
“Fortunately our customers already recognise the Incorez trademark which is used as our brand name for polyurethane dispersions and epoxy hardeners, so hopefully the transition will be relatively seamless,” added Dr Len Daniels, Managing Director.
The last five years have seen tremendous growth for Incorez, which has led to the company becoming the world’s leading manufacturer of specialist oxazolidine additives for the polyurethane coatings and sealants markets.
Since 1986 the Incorez (Industrial Copolymers) product range has been exported across the world and includes oxazolidines, waterborne epoxy curing agents and waterborne polyurethane dispersions. The company was previously owned by the Iotech Group and has a sister company - Incorez Corporation - in the USA. In January 2009 Sika took ownership of the entire Iotech Group which includes both the Incorez companies.
