The Challenge

Formulators are under increasing pressure to deliver the following, all without changing equipment or sacrificing performance:

Reduce VOC

Increase solids

Maintain low viscosity

Prevent pinholes, bubbling and surface defects

The Solution

Incozol®‑341 LV is a low‑viscosity reactive diluent designed to help formulators achieve high‑solids, low‑VOC polyurethane systems with reliable application performance.

By partially replacing the polyol, it reduces viscosity without increasing solvent and reacts directly into the cured network, maintaining mechanical performance. Its moisture‑tolerant behaviour helps minimise CO₂‑related defects, delivering smoother finishes and more consistent results using existing equipment and processes.

Result: Better flow, smoother finishes and more reliable real‑world application.

Key Benefits

Enable High Solids,  Low VOC

  • Reduces formulation viscosity without increasing solvent
  • Supports VOC reduction while maintaining sprayability

Moisture‑Tolerant Performance

  • Reliable curing and appearance in humid or variable conditions
  • More robust on‑site application

Defect‑Free Film Formation

  • Minimises pinholes, bubbling and craters
  • Reduces CO₂‑related defects during cure

No Performance Trade‑Off

  • Reactive (not inert) — maintains mechanical properties
  • Improved early hardness and scratch resistance versus earlier diluents

How It Works

  • In conventional systems, moisture reacts with isocyanates, forming CO₂ bubbles and surface defects
  • Incozol®‑341 LV reacts preferentially with moisture, reducing CO₂ formation
  • The diluent reacts into the PU network, delivering smooth, consistent finishe
